He also served as a corporate transactional lawyer at top tier law firms such as WilmerHale and Goodwin working on M&A, venture financing and public offerings.

Mr. Townsend has advised life science clients regarding the day-to-day business and legal issues, including contract negotiations, including CDAs/NDAs, consulting agreements, CMO/CDMO agreements, CRO agreements, clinical trial agreements, licensing and technology transfer matters.
